LLB Architects Names Fritsch, Kennedy, Pomeranz and Valentine Associates

LLB Architects is pleased to announce that Enno Fritsch LEED AP, Meaghan Kennedy, Assoc. IIDA, Cara Pomeranz, AIA, LEED AP, and Brian Valentine AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, MCCPO have been named Associates in recognition of their contribution to the continued growth of the firm.

Enno Fritsch LEED AP joined LLB Architects in 2015 bringing with him over 13 years of experience in planning and design for institutional clients in the academic and healthcare sectors. He graduated with a Diplom – Ingenieur/Graduate Engineer from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany (KIT) and has a Master of Science in Architecture Studies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to his work as project manager, Enno was named Director of Design Communication earlier this year where he is tasked with enhancing the clarity with which the firm’s designs and design ideas are visually presented. He has held positions with Payette, and as faculty in the Urban Design and Planning department of the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.

A graduate of the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, Meaghan Kennedy, Assoc. IIDA, joined LLB Architects in 2011. She is a creative interior designer who has a special interested in humanistic and sustainable design practices. As the Director of Interior Design, Meaghan is responsible for leading and integrating the discussion of interior design throughout the design process on all the firm’s projects. Recent projects she has worked on include Rhode Island College Gaige and Craig Lee Halls and Cranston Public Library Children’s Room. Since 2013, Meaghan has been IIDANE Providence City Center Director.

Cara Pomeranz holds a Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture and Associates in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology where she graduated cum laude as a President’s Award and Unsung Hero Award recipient. Cara joined the firm earlier this year. A registered architect in Massachusetts, she brings 10 years of experience, and a strong portfolio of design and technical skills to her work. Cara is currently working on residential designs in both Barrington, Rhode Island and Bristol, Rhode Island. She has held positions with Payette, TRO Jung | Brannen, and McKay Architects.

Brian L. Valentine AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, MCCPO joined LLB Architects in 2014 bringing over ten years of educational and public work experience. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams University. Earlier this year, Brian was named Director of Production and tasked with developing and implementing processes that maintain the firm’s high documentation standards. He is currently managing the Lincoln School Science Wing addition and the Franklin Public Library Addition and Renovations. Firms he has previously held positions with include Ai3 Architects and Vision 3 Architects.

Enno, Meaghan, Cara and Brian will be joining Senior Associates Aimee Goodwin Lombardo, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C and Suzanne DiSalvo, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP and Associates Neal H. Bijlani and Jonathan M. Taylor, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP in supporting the advancement of the firm.

LLB Architects Recognizes Two; Bijlani and Taylor Named Associates

Bijlani and TaylorLLB Architects is pleased to announce that Neal H. Bijlani, Director of Design Technology, and Jonathan M. Taylor, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP have been named Associates in recognition of their significant value to the continued growth of the firm.

Neal Bijlani graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Since joining LLB Architects in 2005, he has been instrumental in strengthening the firm’s architectural digital practice. He has also served as the primary engineer for the development of the technological infrastructure needed to support the firm’s Facilities Assessment Solution, a space inventory and building assessment service. Neal resides in Providence.

“For a long time, Neal in his role of Director of Design Technology has been a leader, teacher, and mentor in the area of our architectural digital practice,” said Principal Kathleen Bartels. “He has been instrumental in ensuring that our firm explores and adopts the many technological developments our industry has seen in recent years. Our success in introducing new technological infrastructure and software is directly due to Neal’s ability to evaluate their fit with LLB’s goals as well as manage the implementation of these initiatives within the firm.”

Since joining LLB Architects in 2011, Jonathan M. Taylor, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP has demonstrated his skill at coordinating large-scale, complex projects and programs. He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture, and a minor in architecture history. Projects he is currently working on include Commonwealth Landing in Fall River, MA, renovations at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI, and residential hall renovations at Brown University in Providence, RI. Past projects include Thayer Homestead in Medway, MA and the Physician Assistant Learning Center for Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He and his wife Kelly L. Swan Taylor, Esq. reside in Providence.

“Jonathan brings a strong focus on design excellence to all the projects he manages – particularly during the construction contract management phase of a project,” said Christian Ladds, Principal. “His contribution to the LLB Practice to implement projects as conceived aligns with the emphasis we place on design.”
