The International House of Rhode Island was established in 1963 to promote friendship, connection, learning, and global understanding by bringing people together from around the world for cross-cultural exchange. The independent nonprofit multi-cultural organization provides a place for international students, scholars, professors, and their families to gather. During a recent “Save Our Building” fundraiser, Chris Ladds discussed the renovations the building needs in order to address the major code-compliance issues that have been identified.
