Lincoln School

LLB Architects completed a feasibility study for Lincoln School in 2005. LLB assessed and prioritized potential renovation and upgrade projects for the School including: Phase I: the installation of code compliant hardware in the Upper School stair, as well as select all-school sprinkler system renovations, in conjunction with a time variance request from the Fire Board. Phase II: the construction for a penthouse above the existing science wing. It also included the conversion of the Humanities wing into the Dining Hall, the reorganization of Upper School circulation, a new fire stair, a lounge expansion, and the restoration of the Wheeler Gymnasium. Phase III: an addition to the Boss-Mcloughlin gymnasium, including a new regulation-sized basketball court, three levels of athletic department program and increased electrical service for school functions. Future Phases: renovation of the Auditorium and the Wheeler Gymnasium stage.
